As with 10 and 12 this premises does not appear to have had a retail purpose until around 1898.

Interestingly Newsagent Mr Renvoize was at the centre of a case at The Old Bailey, it resulted in a Mr Ernest Howes being sentenced to a year of hard labour for theft. Read more about it here.
