Number 14 Brixton Road can be seen in the photograph above to the far left, it is currently a shop called ‘Stop N Go’
In the photo above taken in 1912 Number 14 can be seen with it’s canopy closet to the camera.
As with 10 and 12 this premises does not appear to have had a retail purpose until around 1898.

Interestingly Newsagent Mr Renvoize was at the centre of a case at The Old Bailey, it resulted in a Mr Ernest Howes being sentenced to a year of hard labour for theft. Read more about it here.
